Friday Weigh in!

Weekly Weigh In
Drum roll please......da da da DAAAA! I lost weight this week! Woohoo! 

2 pounds to be exact! So excited! Only 3 more pounds and we're out of the 260's! I'm hoping that milestone comes next week when I begin my 21 days of liquid meals :-P As long as I can keep the grazing and emotional eating under control.

Today's New Discover
Okay, I admit it. I have never tried split pea soup. It's green. And honestly when I was younger it never sounded appealing. But since I grew up and realized that I loved peas, I've been wanting to try it. Now is a good time to try! 

Today for lunch I am making an easy and simple split pea soup. I got the recipe from here, but I'm cutting it in half and adding some more spices and herbs. I like a lot of flavor! I will let you all know how it turns out! 
That's all for now. I'm in the middle of getting lunch.

I hope you enjoy the split pea soup.. it's one my favorite soups. I don't make it much, because I'm the only one who eats it in our house.. but I love it!

Thank you Jacqui! My husband's least favorite veggie is peas, so he certainly won't eat it. I didn't try to force my daughter to this time, but it came out really good, so she may be getting it some time in the future.

One this is for sure, it is going on my menu of liquid meals for the next 3 weeks!

I started at 186 so I'm just glad to be away from the 180s.
