My daily Lunch

Lunch time is a huge struggle for me. I don't eat much breakfast, and it's easy not to snack in the morning because we're so busy. But lunch is a toughy. Usually I'm in a rush and trying to get it ready quickly so I opt for unhealthy quick choices like noodles and mac-n-cheese rather than a salad or a healthy wrap.

But that is going to change. This spring I have a huge trip coming up. My husband and I are packing up the girls and heading west! The grand canyon, Yellowstone, Oregon and everything in between! Yes, we are driving, and I want to look better than I have since we were married. I know weight loss is not about looking good but being healthy, but I'll be honest. I've never liked family vacations because of all the pictures. I want to get over that this trip, and be ready to wear all my "thin" clothes. (I've been stockpiling since I started losing weight).

In an effort to eat healthier lunches, I'm going to start taking pictures of what I ate for lunch and post it. The good, the bad...and even the really bad.

I would love to have anyone join me in this, but it's a personal challenge, so don't feel obligated. But if you are also struggling, you may want to give it a try.

The family trip sounds like a great motivator! I don't like pics either and need to get to the point I am ok with them.
